On January 21, 2005 my husband and I went to the Sampson Cemetery and photographed these pictures. From I-95 take Hwy 210 west about 1/2 mile. To get to the cemetery you now have to go through the new housing development just west of Leo McGuire Road (about 1/2 mile west of I-95). From Hwy. 210 turn south into the development and follow the signs to Sampson Cemetery.
NOTE: If you see any of my notes that are incorrect, please notify me so I can correct them. For further information on people in this Cemetery you may visit my RootsWeb site at: http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=vernamaecampbell

minorcan > This is possibly the gravestone of William James Wilson's wife, Marian Isadora (Russell) Wilson. Gravestone says: "W. J. Wilson, Mother, At Rest". The middle row looks like it might have said WIFE at one time but changed to MOTHER.
minorcan > This is very likely the gravestone of William James Wilson b: 1845 and the husband of Marian Isadora (Russell) Wilson. W. J. is the father of most of the Wilson's in the Sampson Cemetery.
